Hasker Farm

You may recall the District Council undertaking talks with a career criminal in pursuit of buying land for a permanent Traveller site at Hasker Farm. At the time, as the Member of Parliament for the area, I made representations to the Council on behalf of residents who understandably felt it was inappropriate for the Council to try to buy land off someone not entitled to sell it.
Unfortunately, the only way I was able to ascertain the facts of the case was through FOI requests to the Council. I was unsatisfied with their responses and their dealing with this issue and subsequently submitted my own complaint. Over 90 days on, this complaint is still unanswered and in the interest of transparency, I have linked it below for all to view.
In my opinion the District Council have questions to answer.
